Who we are

Majorly Married is a podcast and resource site run by Michael & Eden. If you have questions, email majorlymarried+privacy@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Newsletter signups (Mailchimp). If you subscribe, we collect your email address (and any other fields you submit). Mailchimp stores this on our behalf.
• Messages sent through our contact form (Formspree). We collect your name, email, and the message you send so we can respond.
• Server logs / basic technical data. Our host logs requests (e.g., IP address, browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use this to identify you.
• Embedded content. Some pages embed YouTube or Spotify players. Those services may set their own cookies and collect usage data in line with their policies.

How we use your information

• To send the newsletter you requested (unsubscribe any time via the link in each email).
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site (e.g., diagnose issues, prevent abuse).

We do not sell your personal information.

Legal bases (EEA/UK): consent (newsletter); legitimate interests (to run and protect our site and respond to messages).

Who processes data for us

We use trusted providers to run the site. They only process data to provide their services to us:

• Hostinger (web hosting)
• Sanity (content management)
• YouTube & Spotify (embedded players)

Each provider has its own privacy policy and may process data on servers outside your country.

Cookies & embedded content

We don�t use advertising cookies. Embedded players (YouTube/Spotify) may set their own cookies. You can control cookies via your browser settings.

Data retention

• Newsletter: kept until you unsubscribe or we delete the list.
• Contact messages: kept as long as needed to respond and for up to 12 months for reference, then deleted.
• Server logs: typically retained by our host for up to 3090 days.

Your choices & rights

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing majorlymarried+privacy@gmail.com.
• Residents of certain regions (e.g., EEA/UK/California) may have additional rights; we honor valid requests as required by law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is 100% secure.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We don�t knowingly collect personal information from children.
